Just made the 6th monthly payment on my Cap1 QS. Was automatically increased at 5 months from $300 to $1800!! Been adamant about PIF every month.
Considering an app spree to boost things up.
Checked my real FICO scores which are now
Equifax 680
Trans union 711
Am I better off to apply for about 5 or less cards at once?
I'm considering:
Chase Freedom
Discover IT
Amex
would like a Barclay NFL, was denied for one 7-8 months ago but had no credit then.
What cards or tactics would you suggest?
Do Barclay first.

I would app for Amex first, probably PRG and if approved pick a revolver. PRG has a good sign up bonus and 1st year fee is waived. If you don't have 12 months history yet, I would wait until then to apply for Chase.
Any reason why you like the NFL card? Sallie Mae offers 5% back on gas and groceries on every $250 purchases you make per month. I think that's the best card Barclays offers, but this is obviously my opinion.
Just from your list though, I would app in this order:
1) Amex
2) Discover
3) Chase (assuming you have at least 12 months history reporting)
4) Barclays

Didn't see a EX score and 2 of the lenders on your list pulls from EX Chase and Amex
Questions
What was the reason for Barclay denial last time?
INQ's in the last 12 months
Any baddies?
I would do:
Amex
Discover
Barclay
Chase

At the time of the Barclays app I had 2 baddies and a judgement that was/is PIF. All the baddies are gone except the judgement I'm stuck with until 2015.
No other CCs, just an auto loan with an $1800 balance always on time.
Maybe 3 inquiries in past 12 months, 2 for sure.
Waiting on the 6th PIF payment to post before I do anything.
Thanks for your help. Any advice is appreciated.
Based on this info ....go slow
App the card you want the most if approved proceed to the next
If you see a denial stop and reassess
Barclay and Chase I would make last if at all because both may deny based on low CC history and they have been known to.
Those 2 IMHO I would wait until after I had 6 months of history down the road to show them
