What to do?? I have a student loan that should show up soon. I have no credit cards, no car loan, only old bad debt that was cleared through bk7 discharged in 2008.

Try the Orchard Bank Secured Card at hsbcapply.com.

Secured is pretty much the only way for you to go right now unless you are willing to get a guarantor.

Good, glad to see you were approved. In 3 months, try for a slightly harder secured card, such as BofA or Citi. Then in about 6 months from then, you should be able to get an unsecured card.

You need to pull your FICO scores from here. FICO scores are used by most creditors. So, pull your EQ and TU from here, then repost your scores. You may get more help after that.

You have time to work on your credit scores. Here's a heads-up, the scores you posted from Free Score are what we call FAKOs, scores that lenders do not use. For more info on all of this, please click on the link, Credit Scoring 101, in my sig line.
