Do we have any sort of indication yet on whether we will be able to PC BCP cards to the new amex card?

Several posts have indicated they are not allowing PC; new apps only

I was told by an acct specialist that my acct would eligible to PC on 04/02/2014, but I will believe it when it happens!

Good morning. Regrets, you will not be able to product change your existing Card. You will have to apply for the new Card.

So I think that is the latest "official" word

PC BCE to New amex card?

do you think it would be possable to PC my BCE to the new amex card or would i have to have had the card for 12 months? I think the new card will be better for me.

There is a thread about the new amex cards. I literally just asked this question and it had been answered in the thread that apparently we can't PC to the new card per an amex rep.

Re: PC BCE to New amex card?

I apologize if I missed the answer to this, but some of the wording makes me curious...

"If you use the card to make 30 or more purchases during a billing cycle you earn 50% extra points on all those purchases"

Does this mean all the purchases in the billing cycle? Or just the first thirty it took you to qualify?

I currently have the Blue Sky Preferred, but I want to get this one as well. If I do a new app, not a PC, will I get whatever bonus offers they have, including 0%, or do they not allow that more than once? I don't see why not, since they are two different type of rewards.

if you do a new app, then you will get the sign-up bonus, including 0% promo.

Just make sure you are not logged in when you're applying. Best to just use a separate browser or private browsing mode.

Re: New American Express credit card (confirmed Amex EveryDay Card)

Although these have been clarified as full MR points, has there been any kind of confirmation that they will transfer to airlines at the same ratios as the PRG, etc?

I hope that I can get this when it comes out, but I just got a Surpass (my first AMEX) in the middle of February. I am wondering if they will let me get a second card so soon after the first.
