ANd it looks like after taking this for the first year for the bonus, my favorite card that I don't have (Priceline) is a reasonable competitor, no 10% bonus and has a FTF, but no fee.
Yeah, when all the dust settles, the Priceline seems like a card to have on general principle. 2% on all purchases, no annual fee and on the Visa network has no downside.
In the long run, if I'm gonna have any Barclaycard, it would likely be this one.
Just an update. Barclays was true to their word. I have been credited the full 40k bonus miles. After about 2k spend in the first month, Im over 44k miles!
