New CCs and AAoA

I applied for 8 new accounts this year, all in a two month span. They all started reporting on my credit around the same time. I lost about 30 points, and only 2 weeks later, I have gained most of that back. I am at 700 again.

Not that I'm complaining, but I wonder why my score did not take a major nose dive like people talk about on here.  I am super happy it did not. Although, I am fully aware 8 new accounts in such a short period of time will look bad to lenders.

Everyones report is different and things affect their scores in different ways.  If I have to hazard a guess it's either your file is very thin or very thick.

App spree... I applied for the cards I wanted and was approved for most of them. Waiting for AAs, but none yet.

I jus apped and approved for three accounts......cant wait to see what it does to my score.
