Can you apply for a credit card while in a DMP? I know it's defeating the purpose, but I need a card of work travel that they reimburse every month so paying it off won't be a problem I just want to know if it's allowed.

You're not supposed to apply for new credit while in a DMP. Creditors have been know to act quite harshly if they detect new credit while you are in a DMP. You need to check with the DMP before you apply to find out if it is OK in your circumstances.
