I have just succeeded in paying off all my credit card debt. I would like to get rid of some of my current cards for some newer and better cards with better interest rates, but I don't know weather to cancel my old cards before I apply for the new ones or apply for the new ones and then cancel my old ones. anyone have any idea what's a better rule to follow when doing something like this?
