New Discover card CLI or not to CLI that is the question

I received my new Discover card on Friday. When I app'd I was an instant approval with 720+ across the board. No baddies and CC utilization at 15% and they pulled both EX & EQ. they gave me a $1500 CL. I called the 800# on their website to find out if they could give me a better CL. She said their policy is to inquire after 6 months. Should I call the backdoor number and speak to a credit analyst for a CLI or should I take the CSR's advice?

Well, the worst they could say is no.

IIRC Discover is pretty stringent with the initial CL.  But hey, you never know.

In the wallet: USAA MC $4k, Citi Expedia MC $2k, Discover More $1k, Zync $500, American Eagle $1.9k, Amazon Store $1.5k, Lowes $1k, Belk $1.4k, Macy's $500, Abercrombie $350, VS $350
Score: 702 (Discover approval 08/03)

I was also told six months by two people so just let it go, as it was not really that important to me.

It sure wasn't worth 2 HP's. I was sure that I was going to get at least 4k. Oh well, maybe it will be worth it in 6 months.... Thanks
