I am still debating about this card, I want to go ahead and apply or would it be best to wait till the end of the month and let my Barclays and Kay's card show up on my credit report. So I guess my question is should I wait or just go head and apply with fingers crossed.
Have you tried the pre approval site for Discover? I was denied a Discover card after having no offers on the pre approval site, went back 3 months later and had an offer, applied and was approved. I'd try that then apply from there. Good luck!
Yes, nothing come up so that's why I was wondering if maybe it would be better for these 2 new accounts to show up first before app.
Not as of this point I haven't but I was thinking about signing up for the score watch or maybe spending the $60 for all 3 reports.
@CardHunter wrote:Thanks for the reply no plans for a new major loan right now. As far as the inquiries goes I have 0 on Experian, 2 on TU and 1 on Equifax so I don't think 1 hit would hurt, really not even sure who Discover uses but I can take a chance with 1 hit I guess.
Last time I tried with Discover, they pulled EQ for me (I'm in SoCal). Good luck!
Ok guys I just signed up for Fico score watch and it came back at a very sad 622...Im speakless. How in the H$ll did I get approved for the Barclaycard Rewards MasterCard with a $1,800 limit with a score like that??? I was hoping it would have been higher after Experian web site showed me at 671 and Quizzle showed me at 652 and Credit Karma showed me at 641. This sux and really don't know what to do now. Thoughts?
Do you have any baddies on your report? The low score could also be due to high utilization, aaoa, inq, number of accounts, etc. Carefully review your report to see if you can figure out where your'e losing points from.
