New Merrick PreQual Offer

I debated putting this in CC Applications, but since I'm not planning to apply, seemed more appropriate here.

I got quite the shock with the Merrick offer I received in the mail today,  No AF, and a 23.9% (maybe even a bit lower) APR.  This is like Cap One Plat territory.

Thought everyone would enjoy the data point.  I still can't bring myself to apply, but it's not as outrageously horrible as you usually see from Merrick.

I'm still getting the ones with the 39AF.... I've plenty of prime cards now, sooo, off to the dustbin that goes!!!

Not bad for folks without credit. My favorite starter card is still Cap One though since you can grow with them so much more than a bank like Merrick.
