New York & Company

New to this forum.  I have learned a lot and have made significant improvement in my credit.

EQ FICO is 741 2/27/10

TU FICO is 696 1/31/10

I applied for a NY&C card yesterday and got a 7-10 day notice in the mail.

Anyone has had this message before?  Sounds like a denial.  Help

I applied in Nov and I recieved an instant approval for the NY&Co Mastercard.  Have you tried calling them to see if you were approved or if they need additional information?

Re: New York & Company

I applied yesterday.  When I called their customer service number, I was told that they are not able to check the status of the application and that I had to wait until the response arrived in the mail.  I'm assuming the it has something to do with my address because I also applied for the Exxon/Mobil gas card last month, I received the same message but when I called them they said they could not verify my address.  I send them a light bill with my address and was approved for 600 dollars.  Both were pulled from EX.
