He/She is asking us to predict cards that will come out in 2015.
I was at a tech show in 2012.. They had a demo credit card on show.. it was really cool.. They said it could arrive as early as 2015 but i havent heard anything about it since.. Essentially, it was a standard credit card.. only it had a little "flip" out flash drive. With every swipe of the card, a digital receipt was created which was stored directly onto the flash portion of the card.. Then, if you ever needed to return something you could easily go home and print out the receipt.. Sounded and looked pretty cool..

Ridiculous, insanely inconvenient way to do things. ISO 7816-12 (USB-ICC) would make far more sense for this, but it'd need to be added to EMV as an optional add-on.
USB-ICC adds additional contacts to the contact pad, to allow USB. A USB receipt storage could be added.

At Fred Meyer, if you sign up for the "customer tracking" rewards card and have the cashier scan it at each purchase, you can bring anything back and they have a record tied to you of what you bought, so a receipt is nice, but not required. They also send highly targeted "bonus coupons" quarterly along with your little 1% "loyalty bonus" certificate. And $0.10 per gallon off gas purchases for each $100 in the store...
Allowing invasion of your privacy can be quite rewarding.
