New credit Card

Recently applied for a credit card, was approved, and have already received and activated my card. Am wanting to know why myfico has not picked up on that. I thought something like this would be detected right away. Or is it that the cc company has not reported to the bureaus? They do report to all 3. Any info would be appreciated. Thank you.

Re: New credit Card

First of all, congratulations on your approval. :smileyhappy:

It varies as to when a new card reports to the CRAs. It can be anywhere from almost immediately to a couple of months. Give it a little bit of time; you'll see it appear sooner or later.

Re: New credit Card

Congratulations on the approval!!!

Like tinuviel said, your credit issuer may not report the new account right away. Otherwise your credit monitoring service would have given you a new account alert. :smileyhappy:
