I had a charge-off with Macy's from 2009, but I applied for a card in the store. I was referred to Macy's recovery department, which transferred me to Northland Group. I paid off the account with Northland on Monday and by Friday, my account had been updated with Macy's.
I applied for a Macy's card, and I was approved for $600.00, I asked about the low limit, and the rep responded Experian suggested amount. She told me to apply for a cli around Christmas time.
My only concern now is the charge-off account did not appear on non of my credit reports. Does anyone know whether or not a paid charge off will appear now. If so, I can say goodbye to my 700 scores.

Congrats on your approval. They might update your CR's with a paid CA. If they do, you should send a GW letter.
