New promo from Citi

[ Edited ]

The first promo email for my Citi Plat Select World.  Got moved over a few months ago, and was not happy but I decided to give it a shot.  Looks like Citi is moving up the rewards.

20% bonus on cash back.  That means 1.2% on the "other" categories in stead of 1%

Details Below:

To show our thanks for your being a valued Citi® Dividend World MasterCard® cardmember since 2005, we invite you to sign up for20% bonus on the eligible cash back you earn until 1/31/11.* This is a limited-time offer!

*With this offer, you will earn an additional 0.2% in cash back on eligible purchases until 1/31/11. The 20% bonus cash back earned is based on the 1% base earn on purchases and is not earned on any additional or bonus cash back earned on purchases. Eligible purchases exclude balance transfers, cash advances, items returned for credit, fees, interest charges and any amount you earn over the 1% base earn. The promotion starts within 4 business days of when you accept this offer and will end on 1/31/11. The cash back you earn under this offer will count towards the $300 annual maximum accumulation.

Have to sign up first, so if you get this email, don't just trash it!

If you've accepted this offer, you have 4 months to take this advantage.

The catch is  "The cash back you earn under this offer will count towards the $300 annual maximum accumulation."

If you have not earn that much, this is good chance to earn more rewards up to $300.

If you have earned closed to $300, as soon as reach that amount start using another rewards cc if you have.
