Newegg Preferred Denial!

Strange denial reason. I applied on my cellphone but it reads:

Certain elements of transaction deviated from typical customer transactions, suggesting you may not be the individual that applied.

Anyone seen this before?

Sounds like you may have typed in the wrong ss number so nothing matches the file. It may be worth calling.

Sorry to hear about your denial. I think you should be able to get approved for Newegg Preferred Account.  I got approved for both with 1 HP. I applied for the card when I logged into my Newegg account. I pretend to make a big purchase. It asked me if I want to apply for the account to take advantage 0% for 12 months. I didn't get another HP.

I need you call them to recon. I hold on the line to get help to enroll the online.

They are open 7 days a week according to the website. Phone no 1-888-609-0794. Hours:
9 am. to 11pm. ET.

I spoke to the CSR today. He said it was an automatic security feature. It was probably because I applied over my cell phone. He reopened the app and said a Supervisor will manually review. It might take 7-14 days he said. They were really nice.

I called Newegg back today.  They said the Supervisor agreed to reopen the app and now they mailed off the information to Comenity for them to review.  I tried calling Comenity backdoor but the phone calls keep timing out.  It is turning into a lot of red tape.
