Hey everyone, I know I have said this before, but yall ROCK!! Yall have helped me from the low 500's FICO scores after my BK7 discharged 2/2013 to now, 620-670 FICO. I have at QS with Cap 1, the $19 annual fee with a $3300 CL and I just PC'd my Barclays Financing Card (the white one) over to The Rewards Mastercard. I have a $1700 limit on that one. I will have a 14% CCD UTIL once they update over the next week. Just paid them down. Coming from 96% util to what will be 14%. Anyway, I really want to get in to Chase and or Discover. I want to take the next step with my credit to help benefit my wife and our families needs. Mainly rewards stuff. The current cards do those, but I want to get into the "next tier" if you will. The credit sim says my Score should be* around EQ 620 (waiting for 7 baddies to age off by June**EX and TU deleted them early, but I can't get EQ to budge) TU will be around 640 and EX will be around 675. Do I have a shot at getting into Discover or Chase right now? I know Chase does EX a lot and TU as a back up right? Discover is mostly EQ? Side note, I did apply about a year ago for Freedom and was denied due to not enough re-build after BK7....Now a year later, my scores are up about 65-100 points...Thanks everyone!
Oh really? I have seen MANY on here with a BK showing and them getting in with it being a year removed from Discharge. I have seen many other way as well. Do you have a Discover?
Sounds good...will let you know for sure...Sorry about the Discover...I like them, but for some reason I want to get in with Chase.
