I don't qualify for usaa or nfcu which seem to be a little more lenient than some others. I really want to get over 750 in the next 2 years and have a couple of good high limit accounts with good rewards, cash back or travel.Any advice you guys can give me would be appreciated.
Welcome to myFICO. IMO, it's always a good idea to garden after a spree. I try to garden for at least 6 months after apping for 2 or more cards. Good luck to you.

I was approved for Cap1 after getting the 7-10 day message, so there's still hope there.
I agree with others, Gardening for 6 months is probably not a bad idea. It will give you time to plan your next actions and see how much you even need new cards. Many people are surprised by how much they "want" shiny cards, but don't actually need more than 2 or 3 of them. I applied for all my cards in sprees at least 6 months apart, and it has helped keep my AAoA up above 4.5 years. Your AAoA is likely higher with those old accounts being on there, but it will only remain high with patience.
