Nice early holiday gift from barclay

I've been using the barclay visa for this and that type purchases.  Usually only when my Amex are not accepted.

Honestly, I thought at some point they would eventually CLD me, as I've not come near 50% util (issued w/ 1k CL after recon from denial).

Scheduled all my cards to PIF on Friday, and was logging into each today to make sure balances updated.

Low-and-behold, I had to do a discount double-check, as out of the corner of my eye I see $2200 and look to my left and see available credit $2134

Thanks for the $1200 Auto-CLI Barclay!

Re: Nice early holiday gift from barclay

This is EXACTLY why when people ask "how much do I need to spend on my card to get CLIs?", I simply say - just use the card responsibly.  Don't charge more than you can handle and pay on time and lenders will reward you when they are ready to.  There is no formula for doubling CLs quickly, but when lenders are reviewing your account, it just speaks to common sense that they would rather reward someone with activitly like Repo over someone who spends more a month than they earn based on their stated income, thus eating into their savings.

Congratulations, Repo!

In My Wallet: Amex BCP (12/12) $13,500, Cap1 Cash Rewards (6/12) $9,000, Barclaycard Arrival (5/13) $7,500, Citi Forward (12/12) $6,500, Chase Freedom (12/12) $5,000
