No Credit Can he get a card

My son is now 18 and has a good job. He wants to start building his credit do you think he can get a card? If so which one?

Captial One offers builder cards
Householdbank does also
Hooters might be a good choice also

Dont you have to be a member of the CU in order to get a CC from them. I know he is not a member of any right now. He will have to wait until Oct when he returns home. Yes honey I am on here too.

This is very easy to become a member of nasa fcu through National Space Society - www.NSS.org.
You pay like 18$ membership fee what makes you eligible for nasa fcu.

A store card might be an option as long as he always PIF's.

If he's a student, there are lots of prime cards he can look into that will grow with him.
 
Otherwise honestly he should grab a BOA secured or 99/500 partially secured.  Something with no AF that (again) will grow with him so that he won't need to cancel it and lose the age in the future due to fees and low limits.
