No Foreign Transaction Fees for Southwest RR Premier

I just got a flyer in the mail regarding the SW RR Premier card stating that as of August 1st, Premier Cardholders no longer have to pay transaction fees abroad! Does this make this card any more valuable or worth it for you frequent SW flyers out there? Maybe more enticing for those on the fence? (Though you might want to wait until the 50k offer is out there again...)

Re: No Foreign Transaction Fees for Southwest RR Premier

It does make me wonder if it is worth upgrading from plus to premier. The elite part never made much sense to me (no lounges, no first class, etc.), but I might pay the extra $30 for zero FTFs with multiple international trips coming in the next year.

In wallet: Ink Plus 10k, AMEX TE 25k. In bag: CSP 16k, USAA WMC 15k, Hyatt 13k, United MPE 12k, AMEX HHonors 3k. In SD: Cap 1 QS 5k, Discover IT 7k. FICO 08 says my EQ is now 844, was 510 in 2010.
