Hi Guys,
So I decided to go to Citi's website right now because I remember seeing something about World Elite Mastercard for the American Airlines card, well...I just noticed that there is NO world mastercard for AA anymore! It seems to be replaced by a VISA. The American Express one was always there, but no more MC and now showing a VISA, does this mean I'm going to now get a Visa instead?
Edit: Ah, I just called and they said they've discontinued the Mastercard option and now only offer the Visa and AMEX option but people that have the MC card will not get a Visa, even if they need a replacement...
I just logged into my CitiCards account and it lets me order a replacement for my AAdvantage World MasterCard, for what it's worth.
And they've had the Visa one for awhile now. Several years, at least.
And I just noticed at Citi's banking website, it's still being advertised, before the Visa and AmEx versions.
They have trimmed down their offerings perhaps? I have a Diamond Preferred AMEX isn't on there anymore either.
Yeah, maybe they trimmed down their offerings. It's not on the citicard.com site. Hard to believe 2 years ago Citicard had 39 offerings of cards, now it's watered down to 15.
Browsing around the web, I found this link for a Citi AA Gold Mastercard just in case someone is ever interested.
The link was 187 characters, shrunk it down for ease.

Certainly looks legit.
It is not listed on their site.
