Non Chex Systems Credit Union

Good Afternoon:

I really need some help with this. I need to know if there is a credit union that DOES NOT PULL CHEX SYSTEMS FOR A SAVINGS ACCOUNT.

I head that JFCU does not, however I am not certain if that is true. Other than JFCU would you wonderful informative people, please let me know if there are others (that are easy to join without the stipulation of bein military etc).

Also please indicate if they are BK friendly, current scores are high 600s, post bk almost 2 years. No baddies since.

I would like to know as well. I tried to join CCCU and they pulled ChexSystems. I discovered an error reported by my bank and am trying to get it removed. Until then, I don't know which CU to try.

UPDATE:

THEY SAID I AM NOT APPROVED FOR MEMBERSHIP DUE TO NOT BEING ABLE TO IDENTIFY ME. WTF! I HAVE NO CLUE WHAT IS GOING ON AND THEY AREN'T PROVIDING ANY SOLID INFORMATION.

HAS ANYONE EXPERIENCED THIS, ANY POINTERS WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

B of A is one of the few that doesnt seem to care...

Still seething at suntrust for telling me i overdrew a savings account with an ATM card for $1000~!

I got declined for checking account because of chex systems but they let me join with just a savings account. I have a checking account already with nat city so I didn't really care BUT I found out the chex systems problem was due to a CA reporting a bad nat city account from past. I called nat city today and they said they have no record of a CA with me and any baddies in my name. She is calling corporate office to make sure and my next step will be DVing the CA But first asking Nat city to please contact them for me and remove from my report.

YOU can pull a chexsystem report on yourself. There's a thread on this forum about it. I thought they only dealt with bad checks or if you've had bad checking accounts.

I am in chex systems for an account that I hadn't used since 2002. Didn't even know that it was on there until last year. They didn't report it until 2005. The account was overdrawn by an unauthorized charge. They never corrected it. Don't know what to do, but can't get them to remove it.

Why do not you ask your bank when your name will be drop from chex systems,because i been there long time ago,and i do not remember actually how long it has to be there,but i think it's between 4 to 5 years .

years ago i got denied for a purchase using a check. The store gave me a paper with chex systems number and i called them. It seems they made a mistake. Well HELLOOOOOOO!! They fixed it but i was peepeed off. They also have control over how much you can write check for.

POSITIVE CHANGE--do you have the paper work still? If you prove to them I believe they must correct it.
