That is not a preferable way to see them handle that. I'm sure some would not be too happy to hear this.

Their anniversary sale is around the corner. They usually do their auto cli's just before.
Ooooo she's always buying make-up and such from there and I always PIF the bill, that makes sense why they CLI her now !

I came across this posting and thought it would be helpful to add info from CSR I spoke to today. Some of these data points have already been stated, but thought I'd add it anyway:
- Visa upgrade not available until end of Aug
- They are upgrading their system(s)
- Customer can initiate visa upgrade request
- Current CL on card should be min. $5000
- Credit Score should be Experian/699 (however as with all things credit related YMMV) or higher

Super helpful information regarding the credit score! Thanks so much for sharing! My EX may be a little low, at 680, but it's entirely possible it will be in line with the 699 or above by end of August (here's hoping!).
