Just called Nordstrom to see if I could upgrade my Nordstrom card to their VISA. They advised that my store card must be at a $5000 limit to be considered for the VISA because its a Signature VISA. My current limit is $1000.
So he verified my info, asked for my current income, and was able to raise my store card limit to $2500. I'll take that! LOL!!
He said for me to call back in 4-6 months for another increase.
Also, he confirmed that neither the CLI or change to the VISA siggy requires a HP. It's all done internally based on your account history with them.
