Nordstrom Visa CLI

Called in for my CLI yesterday. Was planning on asking for 4K then chickened out and went for 2K. They made it sound very easy and approved it in a minute.

yes, i say always shoot really high with Nordstrom until you reach that ceiling where you have to provide taxes and such, think it's around 15k if I'm not mistaken.

they will always counter if they can't go as high as you ask.

My card has 12k cl and could not get them move upward to 15k in the last 3 years.

With the cli's is it when you have 4 statements cut or just every four months, reason why I am asking  I would like to ask for a cli for the holidays next month which would be 4 months for me since being upgraded to a visa, but I never had a statement generate for me last month as there was no usage.  Thanks for any information
