For FICO purposes, supposedly they will consider them as one.
But they're still listed on the report. And an inquiry shy lender still sees the three inquiries and considers the three inquiries when underwriting.
This is true, that consolidation of inquiries is a FICO characteristic, not necessarily a general credit expectation or practice. This will vary by lender. But for those lenders who do a manual review, they will see and potentially question all inquiries.
