Not using Amex for a month, WIll amex close my account??

If i am active using my amex green card and all of a sudden i dont use it for a month or two (i will be using my other cards) will amex close my account?

I got a Amex card back in 2001 and never use it, They closed it 8 years later in 2009

LOL,  The post office changed my Addy and i forgot that ihad the card ,till i got back in to using credit and checked my reports 2 years ago... I got the Amex BCP last month and it was backdated 2001. GOTTA LOVE AMEX

I can't tell if you are serious or not, but no lender will close an account for one month of non use. The shortest I have seen is Barlcays, who says they will close it after three months of no usage. Usually it is a year before they think about closing it.

Legendary. Did you ever find out what happened to the card? Can you still ask Amex to send you a replacement card?

I have no idea where the card is now, i did call them and they told me the account was closed due to inactived (  O WELL) . I did get backdated to 2001 on my new AMEX BCP, i got last month.
