I would agree with this assessment, even though I know the wait absolutely sucks.

Thanks for the positive vibes guys. I sure hope they tell me something soon, I don't know if I can take the wait!!!!
Unless you have something on teletrack or chex systems, you'll very likely be approved.
I think the extra time is address or id verification. You may get a request for an information review.
Went camping over the weekend and was away from the intenet, thank goodness becuase this suspense would of driven me to having a bad hang over!!!
Good luck jane..sorry it wasnt an instant approval....good vibes are being sent your way by everyone!!

I dont' owe anyone besides my visa, and I've never been in collections/foreclosures/bankruptcy/payday loans or anything like that. My address may be an issue, I've lived at my current address almost 2 yrs, the previous one a year, and the one before that 19yrs. Perhaps they're trying to verify who I am. I had this issue with Macy's who requested proof of my address since I had recently moved from the 19yr home into the apartment I was in for one year. So they might just ask me for proof too.
If it were addresses, they'd hate me, I've had 4 different addresses in the last 5 years.
Did you call?

Thanks! I'm not too worried. They probably would've denied me on the spot if they weren't going to approve me from the get-go. I think they'll end up requesting info or something. It seems like they're doing a little investigating. Even if they only give me a $500 dollar credit limit, I'll be happy as hell to have my foot in the door with a great card. And by the way, I would've gone out of my mind too if I had applied and left to go camping for the weekend.

Yes I did, I posted earlier on here that they told me it would be another 48-72 hours because it was in review.
