Hello all,
I made a really big mistake. Recently, I requested my 61 day 3x CLI and apparently, the 61 days begins when the card is activated and not on the day of approval. I know AMEX can be really sensitive and don't know what I should do. Now that I know that I have since officially passed the 61 day period should I give the CLI another go or wait?

Don't worry, I did the same thing. I requested one at what I thought was 61 days and the system rejected me for no CLI before 60 yada yada. I tried again a few days later and I was approved.

Same thing happened to me last week. Requested and denied on Tuesday; CLI approved when I requested again on Friday. You will be fine. If you know that you are past the 61 days, give it another shot. Worst they say is no and it only counts as a SP.

Glad I found this post. I did the same thing yesterday. Looks like I miscalculated my 61 day date by a couple of days. Thought I was going to have to wait 3 months to make another cli request.
