Ohhh, you are good BofA. Sneaky good!

Called BofA to see about getting my APR reduced on my Alaska Siggy. Currently at 11.99%.

Ended the call with a 0% BT through October 2016 but no APR reduction.

Is it just me or are BofA CSRs balance transfer pushers?

OMG yes!! BofA really pushes balance transfers. They flood my email and mailbox weekly with promos and checks. Just got an email today as a matter fact. Geez. I already gave them a balance transfer. Stop stalking me!! Lol

Yeah they love to push BT.

11.99 is pretty low to begin with.

You already have a Discover with a $14K CL--what do you need a BofA CC for?

When I logged on to my BofA account last week, I noticed a small box on the right side of the screen:

Low APR Balance
Transfer
0.00%
promotional APR until
Oct 2016

on balance transfers
completed by
May 18, 2015

I only have small balance (~$1K) and it's at 0% until December 2015, so don't need that.

And now, I got the letter in the mail with this same info, and also 3 blank checks.

Cash advance with the same 0% until Oct 2016 offer.

Almost tempted to cash out $4000 and go on vacation (something I would have done did in my early 20s).

Discover has 5% rotating categories.  Travel rewards is 1.5, 1.65, 1.875, 2.25, or 2.625% on all purchases (depending on preferred rewards tier).  BBR is $25-$30 per quarter for using the card once a month.  Cash Rewards is pretty useless...

Point is, you're comparing apples to oranges.  You can have more than 1 card and have them all be useful.
