Trying to diversify my portfolio. Any friendly lenders to run to or gastoppoes to stay away from??? My FICO score is 647

5 3rd 500 CL 0 balance
New Cap1 Silver1 1000
Student Loan 97% usage * paid never late 5k
Old DTE closed 4yr never late
BK 2008

My bk was discharged Sept 2009 and I just got the following...so you should be able to as well...

best buy mastercard (i got declined for too many inq, but you should be able to get approved

It does! I'm not much of a huge retail shopper though. I do like TJMax. Mostly for travel expenses. My fiancé always books our flights, so I'm not worried about flight miles. My spending revolves around home expenses, groceries, med bills, and extras while traveling.

NASA FCU is BK friendly from what I have read! No BK here, but I just applied for membership yesterday, waiting on approval for that, had to fax in 3 forms of ID! I applied for their VISA card and its pending, should know Monday I hope! One of the other posters here, said they got approved, for a $25,000.00 credit line with a BK still reporting! Best of luck!

NASA is very BK friendly. I also got a personal line of credit with them too. Take a look at my siggy. All of that credit was post BK discharge.  I'm still trying to find more BK friendly creditors. My biggest goal is to get an AMEX card. Then a US Bank credit card. I can't get a card with them to save my life and I've been banking with them for 10 years!
