Hello,
Thank you for the very informative posts on this board....learned a lot!
Anyway, I had an old lane bryant account opened in 1996. It did not have much usage so I assume it was closed at some point. Had an original credit line of $700 and was used maybe once or twice with charges between $100-$200 and always paid in full and on time. I am now trying to rebuilt my credit from the 2008-2009 credit fiasco that affected so many of us, and thought that reopening this account might help with aaoa and positive history. Do any of you have any ideas how to go about reopening this account and if it's even possible?
A little more info: my scores are low 560-602 range, have opened a Commentity/Victoria Sec card last Sept and applied for Ann Taylor MC but was denied.
If anyone can help with ideas, it would be appreciated.
Comenity does not re-open closed accounts.

+1
Especially given the length of time since it was closed. You would have to re-apply.
