I have 3 cards from GE and the amazon and walmart each gave me 600.00 but the old navy only approved me for 250.00. I decided to call them just now and ask if they could match the 600.00 limit on ON and they did!! They said it was a soft pull and she asked me a few questions and then approved me! That was my lowest limit card and it really bugged me! Thanks for all your help and advice on here.....that is what made the difference....I would have never called and asked otherwise! ![]()

What's the min to get the VISA offer?

I have had the store card since November 2010. It started at $300 and I could never get an increase. I tried at 4 months, 6 months, and at 1 year they moved it to $500. Around April they moved it to $600. I tried two weeks ago for an increase and they said I didnt have enough experience with the current limit even though I use the card all the time at ON, Gap, and BR. Last week when I logged in to check my statement, I had a pop-up screen offering me the upgrade to VISA. Limit...$5000. I thought they were playing a joke on me, but I got the card this week with the $5000 limit.

So it's safe to assume that the min is $5K then?

I only had a $600 store card limit (but not enough experience with it, so they said a week before) when they upgraded it with a HUGE increase.
