Old Navy Card

In the past I have applied for an Old Navy card online and instantly received my denial but today I applied online and I did not received a denial or approval instead it said they will either email or mail me their decision. My credit scores previously have been in the low 500s but now are mid 600s, so is this a good sign?

Don't be! I had to do that last night. Got the message saying to call and verify something, otherwise they'd send me something in the mail within a week. Called, confirmed some information, and the guy informed me that I was getting a 1K ON Visa rather than the card, so good news... don't be shy!

Yesterday I was told to call 18004800192, but that's an OS call center, I believe. Not sure if there's a backdoor. Regardless, I got approved through that number.

In that case, I would use a backdoor number, but I'm not sure what that is. I can't imagine the store card would have such stringent standards... Good luck, though!

Re: Old Navy Card

Well, my name on my credit can be rather confusing, I have had to call in to verify plenty of times because the name I go by is different than the name on my SS card. He did ask me to verify my name and current mailing address and DOB, so fingers crossed!!!
