Old Navy Visa

Does anyone have this card?  It seems you have to apply in the store, I have not been able to find much on whogavemecredit for their VISA card. Any info would be great, which CRA did they pull, guesstimated avg fico, whether or not they would open new card if old store card was charged off, (paid in full after charge off though) =-)  To bad I didnt know about the fico forums when that happened would have asked for a pfd for sure.

Re: Old Navy Visa

I did not know they have a visa card. I applied online and got their store card which is issued by GEMB.

Re: Old Navy Visa

I know, I didnt either until I read the small print on their apping page online. It talked about the 'use card where other visa's are accepted' so I clicked on the hyperlink and sure enough they offer a VISA with points rewards but you can only apply for it in the store.

Once you apply most like they will give you a store card.

Re: Old Navy Visa

Old Navy, Gap, and Banana Republic all owned by the same parent company? I think you can use the store cards interchangeably. The approval process and requirements should be the same for all three cards and all three also have a visa version if you apply in the store. Also, I know that sometimes if you are only approved for the store card, you can at a later date request the visa version and they can upgrade you depending on your history and usage of the card.

Re: Old Navy Visa

Well, I wasnt going to do it and I did it anyway. I had a charge off from about 1.5 yrs ago from Old Navy (store card) which I paid. So my CR's show chargeoff/Paid. I applied in the store for the Visa thinking maybe if GEMB had a heart I might be able to get a store card again. Lo and Behold they approved me for a $1000 CL Old Navy Visa.  I did send GEMB Old Navy a GW letter within the last 30 days to see if they could delete the tradeline. I wonder if they did. I have signed up for True Credit and I see everything is blank for TransUnion. Hopefully I'll get lucky and that means they decided to delete. I can say that Old Navy Visa looks at TransUnion fico score, and that was my highest one.
