Today was an awesome day! I just logged into my Old Navy account and was surprised to see an auto CLI from 200 to 600! Not a huge increase but it is my first AUTO increase!!! Only 2 statements have cut and I am currently in the middle of the third month...and let's see - oh yah...INSTANT APPROVAL for AMEX Zync NPSL!!! Always been like a dream to get in with AMEX. Still in shock that I was approved! Since I was approved though - I went ahead and apped for the AMEX Blue but it is awaiting approval. I am really hoping that I get both cards for 1 HP. If not, I will take care of what I got!

Thanks everyone! I owe it all to this forum for all the information that I have gotten over the past year. Still no update on the Blue app yet but should be able to find out today. Will update once I know something.

Ok. Maybe I misunderstood. Yesterday, I was approved for an AMEX Zync and so I apped for the Amex Blue thinking that it should be a SP unless approved. Or at least they would base a decision on the same CR. They pulled EX yesterday for the Zync. Well apparently I was wrong. They pulled my EQ today for what I can only assume was the Blue app. Is this a common occurence or should I contact them and ask why they pulled another report? Both my EQ and my EX reports are identical. Both show 1 paid collection that will fall off at the end of this month. Nothing else. No lates, no PR - granted my AAoA is only 2 1/2 years on each. Maybe my report was so "borderline" that they felt the need to pull another credit agency? Regardless, I was denied. I will call them after work to see if I can find out why. Bummer...

Sounds about right. It would seem you qualified outright for the Zync but for the additional Amex you were borderline so they pulled a different bureau's report.

oh....well shoot! That's ok...time is on my side. Nothing I can do now but sit and wait....and wait...and wait...
