I received an offer for the Marriott rewards visa by Chase in the mail and I decided to apply. The next day I received an alert from Exp and TU that there has been a credit inquiry. Has anyone ever heard of Chase or any other bank using more than one HP?

Capital One pulls all 3 reports.
I have 6 accounts in good standing. My three credit cards are reporting at $0 ($1800 total CL) and I do not have any collections but the bad thing that I have on my report are my student loans which are currently in rehab.

Any lender can pull multiple boards in an attempt to approve an app. Were you approved?
We shall see. When I called the automated application status number it says that I will receive a decision in the mail within 10 days so it probably looks like I did not get approved but I do have to say my TU score is better than my Exp.
It looks like a verification. Call the recon tomorrow, they will tell the status
