I called and asked, my CSR immediately sounded apologetic telling me 1k. I said something about having bigger plans for the card than that, and they told me about the CLI with soft pull after 60 days and that our relationship was just starting and that it would definitely grow over time. She even made it sound a little flirty... weird.
So, no. I don't think they care if you ask.

I got the automated, so I didn't get anyone nearly as sexy as your story, but I got approved for a 2000CL! Matches my Amazon Chase Visa as my two highest

You sir, got one of the nicest card out there. 2k is good limit. Use it wisely and it will be 6k after 61 days.
