Re: Palladium: Fact V Rumor

Just for the record, I don't care what's actually going on. Whether Tanner has a real Cent, is an AU or has a working replica, it has no bearing on my life. But Tanner, your story (as you have admitted) is very suspicious and doesn't add up imo. There are tons of ways to put all of this to rest, and you're under no obligation, but given your behavior it doesn't seem like you shy away from attention so I can't figure out a reason why you wouldn't. I think the AU on parent's story is probably what actually happened and you know what, who cares...you have rich parents. But it sounds like you work as a developer and are motivated. That's almost exactly my back story as well. Now I'm graduating and going to work in finance...and I paid for my college out of state from a company I started in high school. I think your story is actually worse bc the way you represent it, you don't have the means to be a "true" Cent baller.

Re: Palladium: Fact V Rumor

Perhaps it is your posting style that comes across as ostentatious and disingenuous, and then when confronted you become coy about it. The veracity of whether you possess an individual Centurion is immaterial to me, for the record lol Anyway good luck on JPP, hope you get approved.

Re: Palladium: Fact V Rumor

I see this thread turned into another Tanner flame war.

I'd like to add that a customer recently left me at the counter with his cent card while he collected his bags. I had probably 10 minutes to examine it very closely.

The picture Tanner posted looks nothing like the card I held. There were no silver inlays, or anything like that. It was 100% solid black. There is also a thread going on at another forum, where countless members have a cent, that claim not a single invite has gone out for over a year. Ocassionally someone shows up claiming they know a guy who got one, but it's a rarity.
