I'm back with another question. So earlier today I got my updated EQ FICO and it's 679. (YIKES) <--- Thought it would be higher.
I asked a few days back about possible applying for AMEX PRG ---- but I wanted to wait to get an updated score.
Many of you know my profile.
0 collections
1 secured card -- 300CL only had 2 months - reporting 3 dollar balance (1%)
Deferred Student Loans
AAoA is roughly 6 years
2 Inquiries
Should I wait another 4 months (when secured card will have 6 months history) before applying for PRG or would it be safe to apply now?
Thoughts?

You should garden for at least another 6 months.
If the consensus was to wait on Walmart or Discover- the responses should be the same or even longer of a wait time for Amex.

See I thought otherwise. I thought because AMEX was CHARGE and not REV that it may be a bit different. Makes sense though! I was just waiting on you to hop on!

Charge cards are presumably easier but you still have to meet the minimum credit requirements. Currently, time on your new account will eventually get you to the cc's you want.
Amex will most likely pull EX, not EQ. Personally, I would stay in the garden.
