 I wouldn't be worried about an HP. A hard pull is not going to hurt you in any way since it seems as if you don't currently have any on your report within the last two years.

Very good point here. FICO will be impacted to some extent by how many of your cards have balances. If you only have one card, you have 100% of your cards carrying balances, even if it is only a $10 balance.
