Online Bonus Malls for Credit Cards...thoughts

I am in online shopping mode for labor day sales. I could have sworn my AMEX BCE had an online mall??? No?

Out of Chase, Discover, and BofA what are the best bets for earning potentials? Thoughts???

Happy Labor Day BTW everyone!!

Amex seems to have killed their bonus mall. No one knows for certain if it is ever coming back at this stage since there have been words from CS on both sides of that fence.

Feb. 2012: TU: 677 EQ: 647 EX: 666
Aug. 2013: TU: 729 EQ: 726 EX: 697

I don't think Amex ever had a way to earn extra cashback online, just MR points (though I could be wrong).  I've looked at Chase and it was alright.  Lots of people seem to like Discover's online mall.  I just do most of my online shopping at Amazon though.

go to evreward to check. Most of the time, Chase is the best, since each point is worth 2 cents for me.

Thanks for the info. I wish AMEX would work it out!! Since you can get most everything online with Amazon who offers the best deals for shopping there?

Re: Online Bonus Malls for Credit Cards...thoughts

Citi forward probably. It's 5% points back all the time. They have recently improved their Thankyou points redemption for Citi Forward card holders, so it's 1:1 for almost all the brands they have there.

But I just buy small gift cards (less than 1 dollar) using Chase Freedom (10/10) and then put them into my account. So you get 10 points everytime you make a transaction. People usually get too greedy and buy thousands of 15cents gift cards all at once -- Chase usually just closes your account. But I think doing several a day (of varying amounts) would be reasonable and I don't think will get much attention from Chase.

Yeah I don't wan to deal with Citi. I'm trying to maximize the rewards I have on my current cards. Discover looks good but doesn't have some places I enjoy shopping like Buckle. To my suprise Buckle is on Chase's mall. I don't have the Chase 10/10 since I don't think I'll ever have Chase checking and the Sapphire doesn't really impress me much.

Well I will just have to send AMEX an email to see where thy stand with their online mall and continue research with Chase and Amazon. I did notice you can get free shipping on Amazon with your Discover card.

The USAA amll is pretty good, varying points multiplier depending on the merchant. Some places offer up up to 6x points. Tons of big retailers. I find myself only shopping at places that are part of the USAA mall, addicted to earning points.

*USAA WORLD MC 18k* *USAA VISA 12k* *AMEX BCE 10k* *DISCOVER IT 15k* *AMEX ZYNC* *B of A SIGNATURE CASH 15k* *NAVY FEDERAL PLATINUM 20k* *CITI DOUBLE CASH 15k* *Veridian CU 14k* *Barclays Apple 12.5k*
