I just put in for my first CLI 3 weeks ago and was denied. initiated online..    it was a HARD pull on EQ.  6 month from acct opening.  so that soft pull for the first three is YMMV..


Starting Score: TU 583, EX 683, EQ 653
Current Score: 10/12/14 TU 743 9/24/2014 EQ FICO 751,12/17/2014 EXPERIAN 772
Goal Score: 750

I think it is a good indication that the CSR has no idea about how reports are pulled for a CLI request.

This is by far, one of the funniest thread I have read in this forum.

On a serious note, Citi has always HP for CLI. I went through the EO for an increase on both of my cards, they HP'd me 2x on TU and denied the increase. If you don't mind the HP, then go for it, but take that information with a grain of salt.
