Online pre-approved sites for credit cards.

Discover said I had an offer, didn't say prequal or preapproved, what exactly does their offer mean? Last time I tried it awhile back it said we don't have an offers for you but we recommend the following? Mmm.... I also bailed in credit one due to having to put full Ssn in.

Discover pre-qual site is useless.  It will give anyone an offer.  Put in random info and see what offers you get.

Shucks!  I can't get preapproved offers from credit one and milestone unless I unfreeze my report.  Since when did unfreezing CR become a requirement for a SP?

Creditone prequal has this language: "This isn’t an application for credit and won’t affect your credit score."  You're safe, I do it all the time.

Credit One asked me to send a copy of my social security card. Isn't this unusual?

I did the Pre-quail for the Milestone card and was denied.

It said I didn't have the min cs required.

Can anyone direct me to a cc that will accept low fico scores in the mid 500's?

Might want to try for a secured card first with scores anywhere in the 500s.  It's going to take awhile. 

Also BMF Harris and US Bank offer savings account secured installment loans.  Might want to see if you can get approved for a small loan.
