Opening a card and immediately closing it.

What effect does this have on my credit score.

I opened a Staples card, will Citi PC it to another card, I don't think they would, but I guess I need someone else's input.

Re: Opening a card and immediately closing it.

The damage is done. Keep it open for a year. It's already hit or will hit your AAoA and inquiry hit for HP. Also, you will have better luck pcing the card once it has some history and you have established repayments with Citi

Limit is $651, what an odd limit.
