Has anyone ever had any success getting a CLI with Orchard Bank?  If so, what number did you call? 

Also, does anyone have a backdoor number?

I received a CLI last month for a $100 Dollars had the card 6 month . This was my second time  requesting a CLI the first time i tired was after i had the card 3 months an i was told you must have your card 6 months before your account can receive a CLI. I called the number on the back of my card. I am so tempted to call a BDN to see if i'll have any luck.

There is a backdoor number for Orchard in the first post in the Backdoor Numbers thread stickied at the top of this forum.

Have tried all #s.  18 mos. w/2 orchard ccs (now 1 b/c I consolidated them) and 0 increases.  Makes no sense as I have perfect payment history w/them.  I suspect they have blacklisted me from CLIs as I burned HSBC (not orchard) in the past.  By contrast, cap 1 doubled my cl after 2 mos.  orchard is getting fired 3/09.

I've had my Orchard card for 3 years, no baddies and I can't get a CLI to save my life.  Think this card is going into my sock drawer.

I've tried the back door, front door, etc. and I'm done.

I called the backdoors number twice and recieved CLI twice in the amount of $100 each.

I calle d the number on the back of my card and recieved a 200CLI within a month in a half from getting the card! lol they told me when i asked a month later i was one of the lucky ones! Im going to ask again i love asking bc u never know! who migh t give in! lol

I used the backdoor number in the sticky topic with success. I think it depends on circumstances and the whole YMMV viewpoint. I was approved for the Orchard card on the 11th with a 300 CL, but got approved for a NFCU Nrewards card a few days later for a much higher CL, so I called the backdoor number to cancel the card as I hadnt even received it yet. When the CSR knew I was serious about cancelling, he transferred me to a retention specialist, who in turn offered me a 200 CLI to 500. I went ahead and decided to keep the card at that point.

Odd thing is though, when I called to activate the card they didnt try to sell me that protection coverage I've heard so many horror stories about, but rather they pushed a credit report monitoring service on me, so they must be changing up marketing strategies or something.

YES!!!....I have had my card for 6 months.  My credit limit was $300.  I called 1 (800) 395-6090.  They increased to $1100.000....$800 CLI!!!!

Can I ask you what you said to them?  Did they do a hard pull?  Did they ask you what you wanted your CLI to be or did they determine the amount??
