I'm curious to know if someone with a pretty high FICO, 750 or so happened to apply for the Orchard card, what their response would be. I'm betting...denied.
Not sure I'd want to take the hit just to find out.

Probably not denied. Just a delay while they call a board meeting!

LOL, I'm sure there internal system is set up to consider it automatically as fraud.
It is also possible that one of those things reporting "rebucketed" you in the calculation to FICO they use inhouse.
I'm in the 700s and they're offering me a $59 AF card. They lack any logic.

Flip it around: FICO in the 700's, why would you want their card in the first place?
Deterrent pricing model: you're not their target market; however, if you want a card really badly, they have a really bad card for you.
