I got the mail as well. Transition in July.

 

Yesterday, I sent an Email to Cap One EO requesting CLI on my Orchard Bank card. Let's see how they respond.

They will probably ask to HP you. And give you $100 increase. I'd know...this happened to me. I'd rather just wait....

@injustifiiable: If they called me, I would not go for HP. I would just leave it as it is.

Yes I got it too yesterday. My OB will be Cap1 Platinum. I don't like the gray card so I will be customizing it.

Hmmm I wonder what they'll do with me I already have 2 cap1. But I do have a 3k limit I'm hoping a better option but probably crappy platinum mc or visa

Maybe once it's over and done with, hit up the EO for PC to one of the Venture cards?

I really want them to match my csp which I plan on asking in sept/oct pc to cash rewards wo af. Then cancel mc & visa. Now I have two more prime cards trying to have less cards with better benefits.

I got the same letter stating that my card would be a Cap1 Platinum Mastercard as of July.  I had one of those before with no AF and the EO turned it into a 10k green cash for me with a soft pull.

 

My OB card also has no annual fee (the OB EO removed it for life).  On the Cap1 website, there are three "Platinum Cards" listed.  The Platinum Prestige has no AF, but is only for those with "Excellent Credit".  The other two, Platinum and Classic Platinum have fees at 19 and 35, and are for those with "Average" credit.

 

It will be interesting to see how this plays out.  My guess is all of the OB cards end up as Average Platinum cards, but it is possible that they will sort us by score with soft pulls.  Either way, I will be contacting the EO for a product change once I have mine.

Received my letter I'm getting a platinum visa uh well maybe in the fall I can get a pc well see.

You may want to check your inquires, they hard pulled me back in December, all three CB's, for my Furniture Row-Oak Express account

that was backed by House Hold, never asked just did it automatic
