Other Secured Cards besides BofA

I have low fico scores, 516-540-567

I applied for the BofA secured card today, sent in my paperwork so hopefully I will get back a good response!!

Now, are there other CC's besides the BofA card that will move from secured to unsecured after a time period.  HSBC told me they don't do it...so I wasn't very excited there!

Any other secured cc's that will go unsecured after a time period?

Try one of your local credit unions. They are much more easier to work with and friendilier to deal with.

I went to my credit union and got a secured loan and cc. They cc is $1000 and the money I deposited for it went into a CD, she said as soon as my fico scores are all in the 600s they would move me to unsecured and I had the choice to take the money out of CD's...just thought I would update, Credit Union is the way to go! I have no annual fee and interest is 14% figured that could be much worse with my history and fico scores in the 500's

great courtney, also national city from what i've heard and read has a great secured program also..i think there is a link towards the top you may want to check out.
